I’m Pavitra Svana, an Animator/Illustrator/Writer in pursuit of making a career in Production.
The genres of art that my sketches depict are abstract and contemporary forms. I am inspired by human psyche, emotions, relationships, silent and bitter truths of the society. I’m a fortunate individual to have found something that I can pour my expressions into and which is thoroughly fulfilling. I believe everyone has a story to tell, as do I. More than anything I have come to see that some things that words fail to describe, art portrays.

My artwork is predominantly composed of three colors: black, white, and red. This limited palette allows me to convey emotions without relying on a broad spectrum of colors. Working within these constraints helps me refine my skills and delve deeper into the underlying concepts of my sketches. Despite the absence of additional colors. I want to be able to portray a vibrant spectrum of ideas, emotions and nuances of life within this limited palate. 

 

Writing serves as my second passion, offering an alternative avenue for storytelling. Crafting fictional narratives inspired by elements from my own life is a deeply cathartic experience, allowing me to feel truly alive. I aspire to further explore my inner writer by sharing more of my stories through publication.

Remaining tethered to storytelling breathes life into my being. I constantly pursue new avenues for self-expression, embracing diverse mediums like written narratives, abstract art, and, more recently, pottery.
