I’m Pavitra Svana, an Animator, Illustrator, Writer, Potter, and Nutrition Coach driven by an unwavering pursuit of storytelling and currently seeking production roles in the animation industry.

My visual work lives in the realm of abstract and contemporary art, shaped by the complexities of the human psyche, emotions, relationships, and the unspoken, often uncomfortable truths of society. I consider myself fortunate to have found mediums through which I can pour my experiences and observations along with expressions that feel both personal and universally resonant. I believe everyone has a story to tell; mine often emerges where words fall short and art speaks louder.

My artwork is predominantly composed of black, white, and red. This color palette allows me to strip visuals down to their emotional core, focusing on meaning rather than ornamentation. Working within this restrained palette challenges me to explore a wide spectrum of ideas, emotions, and nuances of life proving that vibrancy is not dependent on abundance, but on depth.

Writing is my second home. Through fictional narratives inspired by fragments of my own life, I find catharsis, clarity, and connection. Storytelling, in any form, makes me feel most alive, and I aspire to share more of my written work through publication, such as my published book of short stories and illustrations- “A Vault in the Arid”..

I remain deeply tethered to narrative, constantly seeking new avenues of expression. From illustration and written word to animation and, most recently, pottery, I explore storytelling through both form and function. Pottery has become a space where my narratives take physical shape, art that can be held, used, and lived with.

At the heart of everything I create, lies a single intention: to tell honest stories that resonate, challenge, and endure.
